Stainless steel plate (不锈钢板) is a flat-rolled corrosion-resistant steel product supplied in hot-rolled, cold-rolled, and medium-thick forms, typically 0.3–100 mm thick, with 200-series, 300-series, and duplex grades dominating the market.

Construction & decoration: coloured, etched, mirror, brushed, and water-ripple sheets are used for elevator panels, hotel and retail interiors, and architectural cladding.
Kitchenware & consumer goods: 304 and 201 grades serve cookware, tableware, and appliance housings, a major export category.
Industrial & chemical: 316L and duplex 2205 plates resist chlorides, acids, and high-temperature service in piping, pressure equipment, and marine hardware.
Transport & energy: exhaust systems, rail, power, and petrochemical equipment consume growing volumes.

China is the world's largest producer and consumer, with capacity concentrated in East, North, and South China and clustered around Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Jiangsu, and Shandong.
