On November 5, the cracked C5 index rose by 1.36% compared to the previous week. Downstream indices also increased: the cracked C5 residual liquid price index rose by 4.41%, isoprene by 2.59%, piperylene by 0.54%, and dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) by 1.61%. Overall, the price increases for downstream products generally exceeded those of cracked C5, leading to a notable expansion in separation margins.
Looking ahead to next week, cracked C5 prices are expected to undergo a slight correction, while the price of cracked C5 residual liquid is anticipated to decline more significantly. Consequently, C5 separation margins are projected to narrow slightly.
