Weekly Outlook for the Domestic Fluorite Wet Powder Market

Published on 2026-10-19

I. Key Focus Points

  1. Bearish sentiment prevails in the 97% wet fluorite powder market, with limited purchasing activity.
  2. The mainstream contract delivery price for anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (AHF) in October is referenced at RMB 14,500–14,800/ton. For the Shandong market, the mainstream contract delivery price is referenced at RMB 14,760–15,000/ton.
  3. Major manufacturers' offers for refrigerant R32 remain firm, while operating rates are near 40–50%.

Core Logic: Sentiment in the fluorine chemical raw materials sector has recently cooled. Although shutdowns by major northern producers have provided some stimulus to prices, they are unlikely to alter the fundamental contradiction of oversupply.

III. Market Outlook

Last week, the domestic market for 97% fluorite concentrate powder remained generally sluggish. The fluorite market largely completed its phased procurement last week, with traders primarily focused on fulfilling existing orders. Supplier sentiment has loosened, and confidence in maintaining prices is insufficient. However, expectations for a firm market persist in the north, mainly due to cost increases driven by weather conditions; nevertheless, weak purchasing enthusiasm has deepened wait-and-see attitudes. In southern markets, the industry faces reverse pressure from sulfuric acid. Since October, rising sulfuric acid costs have compressed profit margins, leading to strong downward pressure on fluorite demand-side pricing. Current spot delivered prices across domestic regions are referenced as follows: Inner Mongolia RMB 3,300–3,400/ton; Zhejiang RMB 3,500–3,600/ton; Jiangxi and Fujian RMB 3,700–3,750/ton; Shandong RMB 3,550–3,650/ton; Northwest region RMB 3,400–3,450/ton; Henan and Anhui RMB 3,450–3,500/ton. As of press time, the mainstream delivered price for domestic wet fluorite powder is referenced at RMB 3,300–3,750/ton.

Fluorite oversupply keeps sentiment bearish despite northern shutdowns. With AHF prices stable and R32 operating rates at 40-50%, margin pressure persists. Weak downstream demand limits price recovery, suggesting continu..
