Hubei Yihua announced on October 8 that, in response to the national "Yangtze River Protection" policy and to promote the industrial transformation and upgrading of its phosphorus-fluorine chemical sector while facilitating the cascaded utilization of phosphorus and fluorine resources, the company is undertaking a wet-process phosphoric acid project coupled with two units of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (AHF), each with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons. The project is being implemented by its controlled subsidiary, Hubei Yihua Fluorochemical Co., Ltd., and is structured in two phases. As of the announcement date, Phase I has been completed, featuring one AHF unit with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons. Following review by relevant regulatory authorities, this unit has commenced safe and successful operations.
