Guangdong Announces the Fourth Batch of Chemical Industrial Parks Passing Review, with Nine Parks Making the List

Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province officially announced the list of the fourth batch of chemical industrial parks proposed to pass the re-evaluation, specifying that the public notice period runs from January 27 to February 28, 2026, during which supervision from all sectors of society is widely welcomed. It is reported that this re-evaluation work was strictly conducted in accordance with the "Implementation Measures for Construction Standards and Certification Management of Chemical Industrial Parks in Guangdong Province (Trial)" (Yue Gong Xin Gui Zi [2022] No. 8). Led by the Department of Industry and Information Technology, the effort involved collaboration with multiple departments, including the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Ecology and Environment, and the Department of Transport. The initiative aims to standardize the construction and management of chemical industrial parks, strengthen the safety baseline for industrial development, and promote the green and high-quality growth of the chemical industry.

The nine chemical industrial parks proposed to pass the re-evaluation span seven cities in Guangdong: Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Maoming, Qingyuan, and Yunfu. The specific list is as follows:

  • Nansha Xiaohu Chemical Industrial Zone, Guangzhou
  • Lishadao Fine Chemical Industrial Park, Dongguan
  • Gaoping Chemical Industrial Park, Sanjiao Town, Zhongshan
  • Jiangmen (Heshan) Fine Chemical Industrial Park
  • Maonan Petrochemical Industrial Park, Maoming
  • Yingde Baisha Coatings and Coating Supporting Base, Qingyuan
  • Donghua Fine Chemical Designated Base, Qingyuan Overseas Chinese Industrial Park
  • Yunfu Yunan Industrial Park (Dawan Chemical Industrial Base)
  • Chemical Zone of Yunfu Circular Economy Industrial Park
