As of July 30, total G inventory at East China main ports stood at 416,000 tons, down 5,000 tons from Monday and 28,000 tons from Thursday last week.
As of August 6, 2026, total MEG arrivals at East China ports reached 39,000 tons, with 34,000 tons at Zhangjiagang and 5,000 tons at Ningbo.
A 830,000-ton-per-year MEG unit in South Asia, owned by an American company, underwent maintenance shutdown in mid-to-late July. Originally scheduled to restart at the end of July, its restart has been postponed to early August.
