What is driving cyanuric chloride demand from the pesticide and dye sectors?
Cyanuric chloride is a core fine chemical intermediate, with roughly 60% of output going into triazine herbicides. The rest feeds reactive and metal-complex dyes, fluorescent whitening agent VBL, and a fast-growing family of triazine-ring plastic additives. Triazine herbicides, reactive dyes and VBL remain mainstream or high-potential products in their fields, and the plastic additives segment is expanding quickly on demand for higher-molecular-weight grades. China's capacity, scale and technical level have risen fast, giving domestic material strong quality and price competitiveness abroad. The main watch item is downstream agrochemical demand seasonality, which drives the sharpest swings in offtake.

Don't overlook the additive side. Triazine-ring plastic additives are a smaller volume but higher-value outlet, and they are less exposed to the weather and crop-cycle swings that hit herbicide demand. Producers with additive-qualified grades tend to hold firmer pricing through the agricultural off-season.
