Chempricehub, November 5: The mainstream quoted price for toluene in South China today is RMB 8,400–8,450 per metric ton, a decline from the previous trading day. On the prior session, domestic prices for toluene and xylene experienced an expanded drop, with weakness continuing intraday. Overnight crude oil plunged sharply, placing broad pressure on the aromatics sector; tight spot supply is no longer able to provide support. Market sentiment remains cautious, with thin trading activity. In the short term, both toluene and xylene markets are expected to trend weakly.
