On September 17, in the Shandong market: Changshu Jingbo Refinery has temporarily suspended loading operations (resumption date TBD). Loading rates at other refineries in the region have increased. Spot prices for heavy-duty road asphalt in Shandong ranged from RMB 5,820 to 6,020 per ton. Some independent local refineries continued to raise their quotes amid tight supply conditions, leading to increased difficulty for traders in securing cargo.
