① Crude oil and naphtha prices weakened, reducing cost-side support.
② Market supply remained slightly tight, with traders showing little willingness to sell at low prices.
③ Downstream enterprises gradually restored their operating rates to normal levels, maintaining essential purchasing of butadiene.
During this period, the domestic butadiene market continued its upward trend. The Shanghai Petrochemical butadiene unit was shut down for maintenance, while some enterprises in the East China region remained offline. Additionally, external sales resources from the North China region decreased, leading to a slightly tight market supply and limited willingness among traders to offer low prices. Downstream enterprises gradually returned to normal operating loads, sustaining essential demand for butadiene procurement. Although downstream acceptance of high-priced raw materials was limited, it was difficult to find low-priced spot supplies within the market, resulting in strong market fluctuations.

The domestic butadiene market is expected to fluctuate within a range next period. Although some units in the East China region plan to restart operations, spot circulating resources in the North China region remain relatively tight. Furthermore, some downstream units are also expected to restart, potentially leading to a slight increase in essential demand for butadiene. This supports traders' firm quoting behavior and strong reluctance to sell. However, considering the slight decline in crude oil prices, which weakens cost-side support, and strong downstream resistance to high-priced raw materials, poor follow-up buying at elevated levels may exert some pressure on the market. Therefore, the domestic butadiene market is primarily expected to trade within a range. The delivered price in central Shandong is projected to be between 14,000–15,500 CNY/ton. It is advisable to monitor supply and demand changes cautiously.
