On October 16, Tongling Chemical Industry Group reported that its phthalic anhydride (PA) plant, with a production capacity of 80,000 tons/year, is operating normally using the o-xylene process. The quoted price for PA stood at RMB 10,600/ton, reflecting an increase of RMB 300/ton. Actual transaction prices have also risen. Supply remains tight, with sales limited to controlled volumes; specific pricing for actual orders is subject to negotiation.
