On September 15, Shandong Lianke Technology Co., Ltd. announced a plan to invest RMB 1 billion in the construction of a large-scale carbon black and precipitated silica production base in Egypt. The project is located in the Sokhna Industrial Zone within the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone). With an annual capacity of 100,000 tons for both carbon black and precipitated silica, the overall construction period is estimated at approximately 18 months.
