On October 19, Hunan Yuneng announced its intention to invest in the construction of the Phase VI Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) project. The planned investment for this project is capped at RMB 2 billion.
According to the announcement, the Phase VI LFP project will be located in Heling Town, Yuhu District, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. The total investment will not exceed RMB 2 billion, with funding sourced entirely from the company’s own resources. The project’s total gross floor area is approximately 80,000 square meters (subject to final actual construction conditions). Key construction activities include building manufacturing workshops, along with supporting infrastructure such as on-site roads, electrical facilities, fire protection and security systems, and environmental treatment facilities. The project also involves the procurement of complete production line equipment for lithium iron phosphate.
The planned construction period is 12 months, subject to adjustment based on actual progress.
