On October 19, Hunan Yuneng announced its plan to invest in the construction of Phase VI Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) project. The total planned investment for this project is not to exceed RMB 2 billion.

According to the announcement, the Phase VI LFP project will be located in Heling Town, Yuhu District, Xiangtan City, Hunan Province. The project investment will not exceed RMB 2 billion, with funds sourced entirely from the company’s own resources. The total building area is approximately 80,000 square meters (subject to final actual construction conditions). The primary scope of construction includes manufacturing workshops, along with ancillary facilities such as internal plant roads, electrical power infrastructure, fire protection and security systems, and environmental treatment facilities. Additionally, complete sets of production line equipment for lithium iron phosphate will be procured. The project has a construction period of 12 months, subject to final actual construction conditions.
