On November 2, the FOB Korea toluene price fell by USD 19.50/ton to USD 1,224/ton, while the FOB China toluene price dropped by USD 19.50/ton to USD 1,220/ton.
In the Indian market, CFR toluene prices declined by USD 18.50/ton to USD 1,394/ton. The spread between CFR India and FOB Korea toluene stood at USD 170/ton, a USD 1/ton increase from the previous assessment. Domestically, ex-tank prices in Kandla were quoted at INR 141–142/kg amid sluggish procurement activity. Indicative domestic toluene offers for late November were around INR 139/kg, with holiday breaks weighing on local plant operating rates.
