I. Key Focus Points

  1. Crude Oil: On October 26, mediators continued to push for US-Iran peace talks, slightly alleviating market concerns over supply risks, leading to a decline in international oil prices. NYMEX crude oil futures (December contract) closed at $101.76/barrel, down $1.51/barrel (-1.46% WoW); ICE Brent crude oil futures (December contract) closed at $115.81/barrel, down $0.91/barrel (-0.78% WoW). INE crude oil futures in China (contract 2612) rose by 22.7 yuan to 739.7 yuan/barrel during the day session and fell by 6.4 yuan to 733.3 yuan/barrel during the night session.

  2. Gasoline: Yesterday, gasoline prices at Shandong refineries increased, reflecting an accumulation of refinery inventory.

  3. Mixed C5: The mixed C5 market in Shandong rose yesterday.

Core Logic: Overnight crude oil prices declined, while the gasoline market and the Shandong mixed C5 market both saw price increases.

IV. Market Outlook

The drop in overnight crude oil prices dampened participants' willingness to enter the market. Yesterday, gasoline market prices rose, but trading sentiment was weak. Refinery prices for mixed C5 increased due to tight spot availability. Chempricehub predicts that the mixed C5 market will consolidate at high levels today.
