Crude Oil: According to Chempricehub on September 23, Iran stated that it is in no rush to begin negotiations until relevant conditions are met and will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz for the time being, leading to a rise in international oil prices. The NYMEX WTI crude oil November contract (following the rollover) settled at $92.16 per barrel, up $1.64 or +1.81% from the previous session. The ICE Brent crude oil November contract closed at $103.08 per barrel, gaining $3.83 or +3.86%. China's INE crude oil futures November 2026 contract fell by 22 yuan to 695.1 yuan per barrel during the day session but rose by 34.9 yuan to 730 yuan per barrel in the night session.
