During the current period, profits across the downstream segments of the cracking C9 industry chain were mixed. Profits for industrial aromatic solvents started low at the beginning of the week but rose subsequently, resulting in a week-on-week increase overall. In contrast, profits for C9 hot-polymerized petroleum resin declined week-on-week; amid rising feedstock prices, theoretical profits fell accordingly on a week-on-week basis.
