During this period, domestic DBP market prices initially rose and then declined. It is reported that in the early stage, continuous significant increases in raw material prices for n-butanol and phthalic anhydride accelerated DBP cost growth. Strong support from high costs stimulated downstream buyers to purchase at lower levels, causing low-end market prices to gradually rise toward the upper end. Mid-week, as prices reached highs, market resistance emerged. Additionally, prices of n-butanol and phthalic anhydride fluctuated downward. Although costs decreased, they remained relatively high, still providing some support for DBP prices. However, downstream users' willingness to buy declined, resulting in sluggish market transactions.

  3. High costs continue to provide support for prices.

DBP prices swung due to volatile n-butanol costs, yet weak downstream demand capped gains. With capacity utilization at just 37.28%, margin expansion feels fragile. I expect continued volatility as feedstock instability ..
