Chempricehub Reminder: Wanxiang Xinyuan Carbon Black Production Capacity Restored

Published on 2026-01-03

December 30th - Wanxiang Xinyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wanxiang Xinyuan") issued an announcement stating that two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, which had previously suspended production temporarily, have now officially met the conditions for resuming operations. Relevant production and business activities are gradually being restored in an orderly manner. Currently, both Ningxia Xinyuan and Tianjin Xinyuan have fulfilled the requirements for resuming operations. Among them, the carbon black workshop of Ningxia Xinyuan has completed comprehensive debugging, with all six production lines restored to full production capacity. At this stage, four production lines have been put into operation.

Chempricehub Analysis on Carbon Black, Bull-Bear Score: -1
The article indicates that the production lines in the carbon black workshop of Ningxia Xinyuan have resumed operations, with all six production lines debugged and four of them already in operation, leading to a significant increase in supply. This may result in oversupply in the spot market for carbon black, putting downward pressure on prices. Considering the current market supply and demand situation, the resumption of supply generally exerts bearish pressure on spot prices, and short-term prices are expected to face downward pressure.
