ChemPriceHub Key Reminder: Pure Soda Ash Inventory Decline Boosts Price.

Published on 2025-12-28

On December 25, the total inventory of domestic soda ash manufacturers was 1.4385 million tons, a decrease of 61,900 tons or 4.13% from Monday, among which light soda ash inventories were 735,500 tons and heavy soda ash inventories were 703,000 tons. PriceSeek analyzed the soda ash market, with a bullish rating of 1.5. The overall inventory of domestic soda ash manufacturers decreased by 61,900 tons, a decline of 4.13%, with both light and heavy soda ash inventory declining. This indicates tightening supply on the supply side, potentially pushing up spot prices. Combining futures data, the main contract for soda ash (e.g., the closing price of the 2605 contract at 1184 yuan/ton, with an increase of +6.00) generally rose, reflecting an increasing market bullish sentiment. The decrease in inventory is expected to further support the upward trend in futures prices.
