March 23 News — Recently, the Zibo Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau released the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the "70,000 t/a Ether Cracking to Isobutylene Technological Transformation Project." This project is invested in and constructed by Zibo Qixiang Tengda Chemical Co., Ltd. With a total investment of 20.73 million yuan, the project involves partial modifications based on the existing 70,000 t/a ether cracking to isobutylene facility. After the technological transformation, both tert-butanol and MTBE can be used to produce isobutylene, while the production capacity of isobutylene remains unchanged.
