On the evening of June 8, Yuntianhua announced that its subsidiary plans to invest 2.737 billion RMB in the construction of a new energy battery precursor materials and phosphogypsum recycling project. Specifically, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Yunnan Tian'an Chemical Co., Ltd., intends to invest 1.578 billion RMB in a green sulfur cycling demonstration project supporting new energy battery precursor materials, which includes a 300,000-ton-per-year wet-process phosphoric acid unit and facilities for producing 800,000 tons of sulfuric acid and 790,000 tons of alkaline material per year from phosphogypsum.
