On the evening of June 8, Yuntianhua announced that its subsidiary plans to invest 2.737 billion yuan to construct a new energy battery precursor materials and phosphogypsum recycling project. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Yunnan Tian'an Chemical, intends to invest 1.578 billion yuan to build a new energy battery precursor materials supporting sulfur cycle green demonstration project, including a 300,000 tons/year wet-process phosphoric acid plant and a facility producing 800,000 tons/year sulfuric acid and 790,000 tons/year alkaline material from phosphogypsum.
