(Note: Due to revisions of some historical data, please refer to the latest figures for this week.)

Sample Description:
The weekly methanol output and capacity utilization data provided by Chempricehub are based on primary statistical surveys covering 181 domestic methanol producers in China, achieving 100% sample coverage. The statistical period runs from Friday of the previous week to Thursday of the current week. Data is released every Thursday at 14:30 on working days.

Definitions:

  • Output: Generally refers to the actual quantity of commodities produced by manufacturers within a given period that meet relevant standards (defined as weight or volume under specific measurement units, not just commodity count). This represents actual production volume.
  • Capacity Utilization Rate: Indicates the extent to which a company’s production capacity is being used, also known as operating load. It is typically calculated as the ratio of product output or raw material processing volume to effective capacity.

Statistical Scope:
The weekly output and capacity utilization statistics cover the period from Friday of the previous week to Thursday of the current week. Data is published every Thursday at 14:30 on working days.
