Weekly Statistics on China's DOTP Production and Capacity Utilization Rate (October 16–22, 2026)

During the week of October 16–22, 2026, mainland China’s DOTP production reached 40,400 tons, an increase of 2,200 tons from the previous period, representing a week-on-week growth rate of 5.76%. The average weekly capacity utilization rate for plants was 59.48%, up 3.31 percentage points from the previous week. This week saw new plant restarts, including those at Ningbo Nanya and Ningbo Xiangda, as well as new shutdowns, such as Zhejiang Hongbo. Most other units maintained stable production. Current industry operating rates stand at approximately 61%, placing them at a moderate level within the year. Operating rates are expected to decline slightly next week. (Note: Starting October 1, the DOTP industry capacity base increased by 150,000 tons/year due to the addition of Guangdong Lingchuang Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd.’s new unit, adjusting the total DOTP capacity coefficient to 3.35 million tons/year.)
