The mainstream spot price range for xylene in the East China region was 9,350–9,500 RMB/ton, down by 50 RMB/ton from the previous trading day. The previous day saw a relatively strong market for both toluene and xylene, with high crude oil prices providing cost-side support and tight domestic spot supply underpinning the market. However, aromatic futures weakened during the night session, leading to cautious buying interest. Downstream users maintained procurement based on essential demand, resulting in moderate overall trading activity. The market is expected to continue oscillating at elevated levels.
