With the East China market as the benchmark, today's mainstream spot acrylic acid price was referenced at CNY 8,300/mt, up CNY 350/mt from the previous working day. Today the acrylic acid market rose broadly. Feedstock propylene consolidated at a high level, and cost-side pressure was significant; acrylic acid plants and holders maintained firm offers. Downstream specialty ester and SAP plants mainly consumed contract cargoes and inventories, the trading atmosphere in the market improved somewhat, and the overall actual transaction negotiation center moved broadly higher.
