Styrene import volume declined in July.

Introduction: In July 2026, China's styrene import and export market showed a pattern of extremely low imports and declining exports. The export volume for the month was 79,600 metric tons. Affected by the recovery of overseas supply, exports fell noticeably from the high levels seen in the second quarter, yet still maintained a substantial year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, the import market continued to shrink, with imports of only 4,200 metric tons in the month, a year-on-year decline of 60.98%.
