According to assessment data, South Korea exported a total of 159,350 tonnes of pure benzene from October 1 to 31, 2026. Of this volume, 133,352 tonnes were shipped to mainland China, 22,853 tonnes to the United States, and 3,145 tonnes to Singapore. For comparison, during the same period in 2025 (October 1–31), South Korea’s total pure benzene exports amounted to 243,742 tonnes, with 237,742 tonnes destined for mainland China and 6,000 tonnes for Taiwan, China.
