Using the Shandong region as a benchmark, dichloromethane in Shandong closed at 3025 yuan/ton today (range: 3000-3050 yuan/ton), an increase from the previous trading day. The central price level of the domestic dichloromethane market shifted upward. Some enterprises faced no inventory pressure and adjusted their quotes flexibly based on their shipment status and inventory levels. Downstream users and traders followed the "buy high, not low" strategy, resulting in decent market turnover.

The capacity utilization rate for methane chlorides stood at 67.94%. Juhua Group’s Gansu facility has commenced production, and its output is now included in capacity and production statistics. Regarding costs and profits, upstream raw material liquid chlorine prices increased today, while methanol prices remained stable, leading to a theoretical rise in the cost of methane chlorides. Based on externally purchased liquid chlorine, the daily profit margin for methane chlorides was 111 yuan/ton.

Currently, downstream users and traders are appropriately replenishing inventories, providing sufficient momentum for market transactions. Inventory pressure for dichloromethane producers has decreased, with some facing no pressure at all. Additionally, upcoming maintenance plans by certain enterprises provide supportive news. Therefore, the domestic dichloromethane market is expected to retain some upside potential. Attention should be paid to subsequent changes in market news and fundamentals.
Refrigerant Market: Using the spot market in East China as a benchmark, major fluorine refrigerant R32 manufacturers maintained firm quotes, controlling volumes to stabilize prices. As of press time, mainstream large-scale plants in East China quoted around 65,500 yuan/ton (coordinated domestic and export pricing); mainstream market quotes in East China ranged from 63,500 to 64,500 yuan/ton, consistent with morning expectations. Market intelligence indicates that inquiries in the channel spot market have been passively weak for a long time. Spot supplies have long been fixed for OEMs, while small-package shipment frequency has slowed down. Consequently, source factories are strictly controlling the increment of spot goods. Statistics show that the overall industry operating load for fluorine refrigerant R32 remains near 40%. Recently, factory production scheduling and consumption forces have contracted further. Foreign trade export volumes rebounded, actively reducing inventory. Amidst the high-level consolidation of R32 prices, channel holders sought opportunities to sell and reduce inventory. There was little interest in purchasing high-cost inventory, with buyers waiting for clear pricing signals from mainstream large-scale plants. Chempricehub predicts that short-term strategies for fluorine refrigerant R32 will focus on volume control and price stabilization, with commercial negotiation-based pricing, while monitoring industry equipment dynamics and production scheduling rhythms.
