【Introduction】: Tetramethylbenzene (TMB) units at Anqing Yicheng and Anhui Yunjia remain under maintenance. The industry operating load for TMB has remained low at 17.4%, supporting further price increases to RMB 18,000–20,000 per ton. With TMB units based on the carbon-ten process at Anhui Yunjia, Shandong Saier, and Jiangsu Hualun gradually resuming operations, whether the market uptrend can be sustained has become a key focus for market participants.
I. TMB Operating Load Remains Low at 17.4%
According to Chempricehub, during this period, multiple TMB units including those at Anqing Yicheng, Anhui Yunjia, and Shaanxi Huahaoxuan were shut down for maintenance. Although Shandong Saier resumed operations, the overall processing load remained persistently low at 17.4%. Spot supply continued to be tight. It is reported that operating enterprises are primarily focused on fulfilling existing orders, exhibiting strong reluctance to sell new inventory. Transactions have been limited to small lots, pushing market prices up to RMB 18,000–20,000 per ton, with high-end prices rising by RMB 2,000 per ton compared to the same time last week.
II. Downstream Crude Anhydride and Pyromellitic Dianhydride Prices Follow Significant Increases
