According to a report by Chempricehub on October 9, the 450,000-ton/year phenol and acetone plant at Huizhou Zhongxin (Phase II) was temporarily shut down on October 8 due to equipment failure. The outage is expected to last for 3–5 days. With low inventory levels, shipments are being tightly controlled.
