On October 19, the 250,000 tons/year phenol/acetone plant at Shandong Fuyu Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was operating normally. The price of phenol was reduced by RMB 100 per ton to RMB 94,500 per ton. Inventory levels were moderate, and shipments proceeded according to schedule.
