On November 4, the market for ethyl acetate in East China remained weak. The ex-factory price from producers was around RMB 6,750 per ton, reflecting a downward adjustment of RMB 50 per ton. Downstream buyers purchased on an as-needed basis, while producers’ shipments were moderate. With raw material prices weakening, ethyl acetate producers lowered their quoted prices, and actual transaction prices are subject to negotiation.
