On January 13, the price of acetic acid in the Zhejiang region was around 2,800 yuan/ton ex-works, up 25 yuan/ton from January 6. The domestic operating rate of acetic acid is not high, downstream demand has not changed significantly, enterprise inventories have declined, and market participants are optimistic. In the short term, the acetic acid market is expected to operate with a wait-and-see attitude.
