It decreased by 21.65% compared to the cycle's peak of 147.70 points (February 7, 2022) and increased by 26.14% compared to the cycle's lowest point of 91.74 points (November 3, 2015). On February 1, the B2B price ratio index for phthalic anhydride and DOP was 84.63, unchanged from the previous day. It decreased by 25.19% compared to the cycle's peak of 113.13 points (October 16, 2022) and increased by 87.36% compared to the cycle's lowest point of 45.17 points (July 27, 2021). (Note: The cycle refers to the period from January 1, 2012, to the present.) Phthalic anhydride prices have fluctuated and declined, while DOP prices have stabilized with fluctuations. DOP's upward momentum has weakened, but downward pressure persists.
On February 2, the DOP market in Jiangsu Province showed weak stabilization, with a quoted price of 8,000 yuan/ton. On February 2, the raw material phthalic anhydride for DOP experienced weak consolidation, while isooctanol prices showed weak stabilization. The cost of DOP raw materials remained weakly stable. DOP production capacity decreased, downstream demand was average, with downstream customers primarily purchasing based on immediate needs and showing moderate willingness to procure. Transaction prices were negotiated, with DOP quoted at 7,800–8,100 yuan/ton. Quotations showed weak stabilization, and actual transaction prices also exhibited weak stabilization.
