On August 31, the 400,000 t/a dimethyl oxalate hydrolysis-to-oxalic acid project developed by Inner Mongolia Zhuozheng Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. was filed with the Development and Reform Commission of Uxin Banner. The project will build two main units with annual capacities of 400,000 tons of dimethyl oxalate and 400,000 tons of oxalic acid, utilizing process gas resources from the existing methanol unit. It is scheduled to be completed in June 2027.
