On October 30, affected by the decline in sulfur feedstock prices, the quoted price for industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (96.5% purity) in the Shanghai market fell to RMB 3,650 per ton, a decrease of RMB 100 per ton. Current inventory levels account for approximately 30% of total capacity.
