Chempricehub, Oct. 21 — On October 21, Sinopec East China raised its diethylene glycol (DEG) quote by CNY 200/ton. Shanghai Petrochemical quoted at CNY 6,750/ton with low operating load; Yangzi Petrochemical and BASF-YPC also executed the latest price of CNY 6,750/ton. The BASF-YPC unit with an annual capacity of 340,000 tons is operating at approximately 40% load. Market participants hold a weak outlook for future prices.
