Based on the Shandong region as the benchmark, today's n-butanol closed at 8,700–8,800 RMB/ton, consistent with morning expectations. Today, domestic n-butanol market prices fluctuated with adjustments. It is reported that raw material propylene prices rose slightly, providing strong cost support for n-butanol prices. Downstream purchasing enthusiasm has also returned somewhat, with buyers making necessary purchases at lower price points, thereby increasing market transaction volumes.
Today, the domestic n-butanol capacity utilization rate stood at 76%. With rising propylene raw material prices, current n-butanol profitability is approximately 1,075 RMB/ton.
Currently, raw material propylene remains high, sustaining strong cost support. Downstream willingness to take delivery has increased, leading to more inquiries and transactions. Given limited market supply, prices are expected to consolidate within a fluctuating range.
Octanol Market: In Jiangsu province, first-grade octanol commercial negotiations referenced 9,500–9,600 RMB/ton. Downstream users are waiting and seeing regarding raw material trends. High-priced offers are difficult to close, causing the center of gravity for negotiations to soften slightly.
