Morning Market Brief for Industrial C10 Heavy Aromatics

Published on 2026-10-27

I. Key Points

  1. Crude Oil: Mediators continue to promote US-Iran peace talks, slightly alleviating market concerns over supply risks and causing international oil prices to fall. The NYMEX crude oil futures contract for December closed at $101.76/bbl, down $1.51/bbl (-1.46% WoW); the ICE Brent crude oil futures contract for December closed at $115.81/bbl, down $0.91/bbl (-0.78% WoW). China’s INE crude oil futures contract 2612 rose by 22.7 yuan to 739.7 yuan/bbl during the day session but fell by 6.4 yuan to 733.3 yuan/bbl in the night session.
  2. Downstream High-Boiling Aromatic Solvents: Shipment prices remained stable.

Core Logic: Crude oil futures closed lower; however, downstream high-boiling aromatic solvent market prices remain firm. There is an expectation of stability with a slight upward trend in the industrial C10 mixed aromatics market.

III. Market Outlook

Although international oil prices closed lower, downstream high-boiling aromatic solvent market prices have risen since the weekend. Most refineries have increased their C10 prices, with some still pending price adjustments today. Therefore, the industrial C10 mixed aromatics market is expected to maintain stability with a potential slight increase today.
