The mainstream spot quotation range for xylene in East China is 5,670-5,700 yuan/ton, up 20 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. In the previous trading day, domestic toluene and xylene prices were mainly consolidating sideways. Recently, there has been no clear trend guidance from crude oil and the aromatics sector, and the market overall lacks direction. It is expected that prices will continue to fluctuate within a narrow range. As the Spring Festival approaches, downstream pre-holiday restocking demand is expected to further weaken. However, with low inventory pressure at refineries and steady sales, the room for short-term price adjustments remains relatively limited.
