ChemPriceHub, October 28 — The North China bromine market continued its upward trend on October 28. Mainstream transaction prices for bromine remained at CNY 42,000–42,800 per tonne, with actual transactions primarily based on negotiation. Producers and inventory holders exhibited a strong tendency to maintain high prices and restrict sales due to reluctance to sell. On the demand side, downstream flame retardant manufacturers continued to procure mainly on an as-needed basis.
