On October 19, Liuhua Yi Weiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. lowered its ex-factory settlement price for phenol by RMB 100 per ton to RMB 9,500 per ton, effective from the same day. According to reports, the company’s two combined phenol/acetone units with a total annual capacity of 700,000 tons are operating normally and shipping products as scheduled.
