According to assessment data, South Korea exported a total of 127,609 tonnes of pure benzene from October 1–20, 2026. Of this volume, 104,757 tonnes were shipped to mainland China and 22,852 tonnes to the United States. By comparison, during the same period in 2025 (October 1–20), South Korea’s total pure benzene exports amounted to 115,101 tonnes, with 109,101 tonnes destined for mainland China and 6,000 tonnes for Taiwan, China.
