That regulatory status, not green branding, is what wins export orders. But DOTP's industrial maturity lags DOP's, and much domestic output is made from recycled or residual feedstock, which undermines quality consistency. The honest framing: DOTP's core advantage is performance, higher boiling point, flash point, and resistivity, with compliance as a bonus. Buyers should evaluate it on technical merit and feedstock traceability, not on the eco label alone.
