In July 2026, China's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) import volume registered a significant month-on-month surge.

Chempricehub, August 20 – According to customs data, China's LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) imports totaled 3.3168 million metric tons in July 2026, a month-on-month increase of 62.21%. Among them, liquefied propane imports reached 2.7312 million metric tons, up 56.34% month-on-month, with an average import price of USD 696.27/metric ton; liquefied butane imports stood at 571,300 metric tons, up 97.4% month-on-month, with an average import price of USD 705.37/metric ton.
