Yankuang Group Methanol Auction Report – November 2 (ChemPriceHub)
On November 2, Yankuang Guohong conducted an auction for methanol sales. The final transaction price was settled at RMB 3,615 per ton (ex-works, cash basis). The plant’s 640,000-ton-per-year coal-to-methanol unit is currently operating with three gasifiers in service.
In Yulin, the starting bid price for Yankuang methanol was set at RMB 3,250 per ton for a quantity of 7,000 tons. All lots were successfully sold at prices ranging from RMB 3,285 to RMB 3,290 per ton. Both Phase I (600,000 tons/year capacity) and Phase II (800,000 tons/year capacity) methanol plants are operating stably.
