Environmental Impact Assessment Public Notice for the Reconstruction and Expansion Project of Lithium Hexafluorophosphate by Shaowu Yongtai

Chempricehub, September 20 — On September 17, the Nanping Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued an environmental impact assessment (EIA) public notice for the technical renovation and expansion project of Shaowu Yongtai New Materials Co., Ltd. The project involves the annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6). Following the renovation and expansion, the entire plant will have a total capacity of 50,000 tons per year of solid LiPF6 and 60,000 tons per year of 30% liquid LiPF6. Additionally, the process will generate anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and 31% hydrochloric acid as by-products.
